- Aircraft type
- eVTOL passenger concept design aircraft
- Piloting
- 1 pilot
- Capacity
- 4 passengers and luggage
- Maximum cruise speed
- 282 km/h (175 mph)
- Range
- 97 km (60 miles)
- Noise information
- For VTOL flight, each fan operates at a different frequency which reduces the noise of the aircraft. The electric engines are quieter than their gasoline counterparts.
- Propellers
- 8 ducted fans for VTOL flight, the fan doors close during forward flight. 1 tail mounted pusher propeller for forward flight.
- Electric motors
- 9 electric motors
- Power source
- Batteries. Can quickly recharge and can be changed-out in about 5 minutes.
- Fuselage
- Carbon fiber composite
- Windows
- Panoramic wrap around windows allowing forward, left, right visibility for spectacular views with a solid roof above the passenger compartment
- Wings
- 1 main high wing
- Tail
- 1 T-tail
- Landing gear
- Retractable tricycle wheeled landing gear
- Safety features
- Distributed Electric Propulsion (DEP), provides safety through redundancy for its passengers and/or cargo. DEP means having multiple propellers (or ducted fans) and motors on the aircraft so if one or more propellers (ducted fans) or motors fail, the other working propellers (or ducted fans) and motors can safely land the aircraft. There are also redundancies of critical components in the sub-systems of the aircraft. The electronics will have the capability to detect and avoid other aircraft. It will have fly-by-wire controls and its electronics make piloting the aircraft easier than other conventional aircraft. The aircraft can land with 2 VTOL ducted fans not operating. The aircraft can land safely even with its battery packs malfunctioning. It has energy absorbing airframe and seats. It can land on a runway or road, like a conventional plane.
